Overview and Experience
Philippe is a member of the Geneva Bar and holds a Master’s degree in Business Management from HEC (MSc), as well as a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Criminal Magistrates (CAS MAP). He specializes in real estate issues, with a particular focus on regional planning, public and private construction law and housing.
After starting his career with Ernst & Young, Philippe spent 10 years as General Secretary of the Union Suisse des Professionnels de l’Immobilier Genève (USPI Genève) and of the Association des promoteurs constructeurs genevois (APCG), which enabled him to build up an extensive network within the industry and the public administration. In particular, he assists his clients in obtaining building permits.
In addition to real estate law, Philippe is active in administrative law, commercial litigation and dispute resolution, economic criminal law and international mutual assistance in criminal matters. He also sits on a number of boards of directors.
Philippe is also a magistrate, having served as President II of Military Court 1, after having worked as an examining magistrate and then as an auditor (public prosecutor).
He co-founded the Angelozzi Lachat law firm in Geneva in 2023. Admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2010, he is a member of the Geneva Bar Association (OdA), the Swiss Bar Association (FSA) and the Chambre genevoise immobilière (CGI)
